Juho Nurmela (b. 1985) is a Finnish-born, Amsterdam-based film composer, music producer, and mixing and mastering engineer. With a background in classical guitar (BA, Turku Arts Academy) and film composition (MA, Amsterdam Conservatory), he has composed music for over 40 films and TV productions.
 

Juho’s approach blends electronic and acoustic elements, merging genres and working at the intersection of music and sound design. Recent work includes The Kidnapping of a President (2026, dir. Samuli Valkama), Above the Dust (2024, dir. Wang Xiaoshuai, co-scored with Ella van der Woude), and the Netflix film Crypto Boy (2023, dir. Shady El-Hamus).
